Penny Berry from Banbury in Oxfordshire took on the Snowdon challenge on the 8th of May to raise funds for Spinal Research.
Penny trekked for 3.5 hours with fellow walkers before reaching the summit of Snowdon, the highest peak in Wales standing at 1085m. Penny says;
"My younger brother Andy was paralysed at the age of 18 when he was tackled in a rugby match. I think my brother is amazing for how he's managed this life changing event and I decided to do something to raise money for a charity that means a lot to us - Spinal Research.
"I was very lucky with the weather on the day but I must say it's still the hardest thing I've ever done in my life - I was completely out of my comfort zone but I'm very proud of the fact that I climbed Snowdon and did it for a very worthy cause!"
