With temperatures exceeding 30 degrees on Sunday 2nd July, most people in the UK would have been soaking up the sunshine in their gardens or on the beach, but the dedicated team of 13 Spinal Research runners and four TRUST PA runners were instead lining up at Hyde Park Corner in London at 9.35am to take part in the British 10K London Road Race!
Taking in some of the most famous landmarks in the Capital, the runners started on Piccadilly and made their way through Trafalgar Square on to St Paul's Cathedral and along the Thames, to finish at the Cenotaph on Whitehall in Westminster. Then on to the Lord Moon of the Mall pub for a welcome drink to celebrate their acheivement!
Congratulations and a huge THANK YOU to all the runners who took on this 10K challenge in sweltering heat to raise funds for Spinal Research.
