Ginny Elliot MBE is currently the only rider to have won the individual European Champion title three times in succession, in 1985, 1987, and 1989.
She was also World champion, five times winner of Burghley and three times winner of Badminton and is the winner of 14 four star three day events. Ginny also has two silver and two bronze Olympic medals. She was also team coach for three years.
She rode many great horses mainly Murphy Himself and Priceless. Murphy Himself was a cocky gray gelding who was very strong and a very hard ride, they did quite well though - with a 1st at Avenches (1984), 1st at 1986 Le Touquet CCI and 1st at 1986 Burghley. She had a few tough falls from him and her mother and trainer thought she shouldn't continue riding him. She traded him to Ian Stark for Ian Stark's horse George. Her other horse Priceless was a dark bay, described as pony-like until he was seen in full flight. He never had a stop in his whole cross country career which was quite a feat.
