Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon

6 October 2013

The Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon is a hugely popular race taking in three of London’s Royal Parks (Hyde Park, Green Park & St James’ Park) as well as many of London’s famous landmarks. The 13.1 mile route is absolutely stunning and is one of only two half marathons staged in London.

Need a place?

We have guaranteed places for the 2013 event. In return for a guaranteed place, we ask for a registration fee of £50 to secure your entry and that you pledge to raise a minimum of £350 in sponsorship.

Have your own place?

If you’re lucky enough to be allocated a ballot entry or you have a wheelchair entry and want to take part for Spinal Research, we just ask that you raise as much as you can.

However you take part, all sponsorship will help us develop treatments to restore feeling and mobility for people paralysed as a result of breaking their neck or back.

What can you expect from us?

Everyone in our team will receive a full support package including:

  • A comprehensive fundraising guide
  • Personalised sponsorship forms
  • Details on how to set up, publicise and manage your own online fundraising page
  • A complete half marathon training guide
  • Regular team e-newsletters
  • A Spinal Research running vest
  • A cheering party en-route on race day, with sweeties to keep you going!
  • Not to mention heaps of encouragement, help and advice!

We are pleased to be supported by Graeme Hilditch’s fitFAQs, a service designed to help you train for the half marathon. To find out more visit fitFAQs. Run by personal trainer Graeme Hilditch (author of our training guides), fitFAQs can help you achieve your marathon goals.
