2018 Big Brew draw winner announced
During 2018 kettles will be boiling all around the country in support of Spinal Research, a charity close to Guy Martin’s heart.
Everyone that raised funds for our Patron Guy Martin's Big Brew prior to July 30th were entered into a draw to meet Guy at this year’s DirtQuake. Julia Hilliard and Beth Holmes were this year’s lucky winners and had a wonderful time chatting to Guy and getting various mementoes signed in the VIP area at the race track. They have been doing various events and are planning lots more.
Why not get together with friends, family and work colleagues to do some fundraising for Spinal Research and support a cause that Guy Martin is so passionate about.
Every day, three people in the UK and Ireland are told they will never walk again due to spinal cord injury.
Be part of Big Brew and organise ride outs, quiz nights and cake sales, not forgetting the all-important cuppa! Get involved now and organise your own Big Brew event.
The money raised by the Big Brew will fund ground breaking research to develop effective treatments for paralysis caused by spinal cord injury. Every year 1,000 people in the UK and Ireland are paralysed following an injury to their spinal cord.
Spinal Research is the UK’s leading charity funding medical research around the world. You can download a Big Brew Fundraising Pack and Big Brew poster or we can send them in the post. You can also make a donation or set up your own Big Brew Justgiving page.
Get in touch with the Community Team to find out more and let us know what you are planning. We’ll provide you with Spinal Research t-shirts and balloons, literature and posters and help you with whatever you need. Just email us or phone 020 7653 8935.
