PhD student Ellen Sinopoulou

Ellen joined the lab of Professor Elizabeth Bradbury at King’s College London in 2015 researching the restoration of upper limb function using a novel combination of neurorehabilitation techniques.

After completeing her BSc Neuroscience at University of Glasgow with the Spinal Cord Group, Ellen went to America to City College of City University of New York.
There, she studied for her MSc Neuroscience focusing on investigating implanted electrophysiological data in the development of the corticospinal tract. The study involved periods at University of Freiburg, Germany and INCI - Universitè de Strasbourg, France.

During her studies, Ellen has worked in the field of spinal cord injury and, since starting her PhD her in London, she has been a key supporter of Spinal Research doing her own fundraising and helping at fundraising events.
