Spinal Cord Injuries Awareness Day

Friday 19 May 2017

What Can You Do?

Spinal Cord Injuries Awareness Day is an annual event which raises much needed profile and funds for people affected by spinal cord injury.

We’re asking all our friends, supporters and followers to come together to turn the spotlight on what it means to have a spinal cord injury. We also want to say thank you to them. Please read our open letter of thanks.

We'll be raising awareness on social media so keep an eye out for us and join in by sharing or tweeting.

Lots of our supporters will be having a nice cuppa as part of Guy Martin's Big Brew for Spinal Research. If you hold a Big Brew event for us before July 2017, then you could be in with a chance of meeting the man himself. It's easy to do. You might want to hold a different type of community event, take on a challenge, or simply donate.

Whatever you do, you will be helping to find effective treatments for spinal cord injury.
